12 Miles Per Gallon
Oh my god! I was laughing so hard just now I was having trouble breathing!
This is old news but worth sharing. To set the stage you have to realize I drive a Toyota Land Cruiser with almost 300,000 miles. The upside is that I bought it used with 150,000 miles on it, and only drive it about 14 miles per day to work and back or to the beach and back. It is a gas guzzler, only getting about 12 miles per gallon. The flip side would be a new car with all of the wasted resources that go into making a new car.
Anyway..I am planning on holding a contest on this website (details to come!) and have been reading up on the legality of contests. I cam across a link to a Chevy Tahoe add. It appears that last year they had a contest where their users could make a Tahoe add using stock images. It appears that some of the users who loaded their adds onto the Chevy site, gave Chevy a few surprises. I won’t give it away, and I highly recommend you spend 3 minutes watching it. Remember I am a strong environmentalist, who also drives a car that gets 12 miles per gallon. Here is the link, and enjoy, check back to see when the contest here starts!
