Most people wouldn’t dream of putting bad gas in their car, but when it comes to what we put in our body, in general, we are not as careful. Kind of ironic that we take good care of our car, which we can easily replace, but not our body which we can’t replace, at least not all that easily. If you are feeling a little sluggish and that all the pistons in your brain aren’t firing quite right, it may be because of the fuel you are providing it. Food is fuel. It’s as simple as that and the type of fuel we use will determine our output.
In order to not have a “brain drain,” avoid eating or limit foods with any of the following ingredients:
* artificial sweeteners & colorings
* corn syrup
* processed sugars
* hydrogenated oils
* nicotine
* alcohol
