Good stuff, pretty amazing the movement of water in recession, didn’t get to see any of that from my perch on my balcony in Okinawa Japan…thanks for sharing!
That was awesome… pretty darn hilarious. My fav. was the little old man jogging by and the couple holding hands… yes I could see the panic! Haha!

This is much later — Cinco de Mayo — but I wanted to say how neat this video was! Sorry, DK, but what impressed me most was not your exquisite surfing form, but rather that VAST expanse of sand after the water was sucked back! Wow! And a PS — I am very grateful you did not get walloped by a killer wave. You would be greatly missed by all of us Seaside Chiropractic aficionados…
Great fun! We get a lot of rain in Seattle, but never a tsunami. Will have to come to CA to learn some surfing skills.
