Dear Dr. Klein,
Dear Dr. Klein,
I have come to you about 5 times now in about a week
and a half and cannot believe the amazing improvements
(both physical and mental) that I have experienced from your
adjustments in so little time.
About 2 months ago I was the
victim of a violent crime and was almost raped and killed in
my apartment. I did fight my attacker off and survived, but
I had very serious physical injuries from the attack.
My attacker relentlessly punched and kicked me as hard as
he could, and threw me against walls and the floor for over
45 minutes until the cops showed up. I was left with a broken
nose, broken orbital bone, severe head trauma/bruising,
back pain, and I could not eat for 2 weeks as my jaw was so
bruised I could not open it.
My injuries were so bad that I
was not allowed to workout for over a month until they healed
and was prescribed painkillers, antidepressants, anti-anxiety
and sleeping pills. Emotionally, I was a wreck as well- I
could not sleep, had anxiety about being alone or walking by
myself at night, was very depressed, had nightmares, headaches,
low energy, scattered and disorganized thoughts, and no
motivation (normally I’m very Type A and all of a sudden I
wasn’t getting anything done that I planned to do each day).
Mentally, I couldn’t function on a daily basis and had been
seeing an array of doctors for counseling, physical recovery,
and prescriptions.
One of my doctors recommended that I go see a chiropractor for
the on going back pain that was not going away. I was a little
skeptical as I had seen chiropractors a few years ago and was
saddled with endless, ongoing sessions with no improvement. My
mother found your website and thought I should give it a try
given his patient testimonies and experience.
I was amazed
that when I called your office for information, you immediately
called me back to personally to talk to me and scheduled my
first appointment that day. You made an enormous effort to
make sure I was comfortable in my surroundings and with your
staff and I enjoyed my first visit and talking with you and
your staff that I was there almost 3 hours! Unheard of for a
doctor as the average time with a patient is about 15 minutes.
You and your staff also made a tremendous effort to get to know
me on a personal level and when I come for my adjustments it
almost feel like visiting a friend’s house!
After my initial chiropractic exam, you informed me that my
top vertebra in my neck was severely out of alignment as were
the vertebrae in my lower back. Also, basically every other
vertebra in my back was a little out of alignment as well as a
result of the attack.
Since you have been adjusting my neck and back, I have already
noticed major improvements in my physical and mental
functioning.
My back pain has been reduced, I ran for the first
time yesterday since the incident, I have much more energy and
motivation, my mood is greatly increased, my mind is clear and
organized again, and I have noticed colors being more vibrant
when I take the stroll down to the beach after each adjustment.
More interestingly, I have been able to reduce the dosage of my
antidepressants by half and completely stop using sleeping pills
and anti-anxiety meds (after only 5 visits!).
This is amazing to me as I have had sleeping issues for years
and have used
sleeping pills every night for the past year and a half. Not
only that, but I can take naps now (I had too much anxiety before
to sleep) and have been sleeping for 10-12 hours a night without
a break! gI am so thankful for your help and look forward to
experiencing further positive effects from your treatments going
forward. I would highly recommend you (and have already) to anyone
needing chiropractic care.
Best,
Victoria
