Dear Dr. Klein,
Dear Doctor Klein,
I am so excited to tell you the “rest of my story.” For about a month,
I saw your job ads on Craig’s List and found myself draw to them, but
wasn’t exactly sure why. Through past experiences, I have learned that
when something keeps showing up or ideas keep surfacing or when you
continue to feel drawn to something, then there is something there for
you to either learn from or benefit from. Because your ads kept calling
to me, I replied to your ad. I recently stated my own nutrition and wellness
business and thought the opportunity to learn more about the body from a
chiropractic viewpoint would help me in my business so it seemed like a
good fit. Additionally I was shopping for a good chiropractor so this was a
good way to learn more about you and your practice. Thus, I came to the
interview. Boy, was I in for a great surprise.
First, I really appreciated your informative interview approach as I
learned so much about the body and how chiropractic services work.
I have been to many chiropractic visits with other chiropractors, but
had never had the process explained in such a simple, straight forward
way that made complete sense.
Secondly, I learned that the reason I was drawn to your ads because you
held the answer to some rather uncomfortably aches and pains I was experiencing.
A year ago I joined the California National Guard in an effort to serve God,
serve our country and make a contribution. While this decision has been
positive in many ways, Boot Camp was rather rough on my body and I ended up
with pelvic stress fractures. Thus, Boot Camp went from a 2 month adventure
to a 6 month one. While I had healed enough to graduate from my training,
I wasn’t completely healed and had ongoing pain in my hips. The best way to
describe it is like having a toothache in your hip. I also had pain in my
back.
Today I came in for my first adjustment and I can’t believe the difference.
After my adjustment, you invited me to go for a walk around the block.
I wear glasses and when I walked outside and looked around it was almost
as if someone had washed my glasses. Everything seemed so clear and crisp.
Wow! The world looked great. I then headed down to the ocean. While I had
not planned to create the perfect comparison experiment, before coming to your
office for my adjustment I had spent some time sitting by the ocean watching
the waves and enjoying the smells and sounds of the beach. Thus, I knew what
I had smelt and seen before the adjustment. What really surprised me was that
after the adjustment, the smells of the ocean and surrounding vegetation was
so much more poignant. The sounds were also more distinct and crisp. It’s a
rather simple concept, but you only know what you know and thus, have no idea
what you are missing, until that is, you are introduced to or shown that there
can be more. My adjustment today did just that. Now I know the world is
even more beautiful than I had previously thought. Thank you!
The other thing that I noticed was a big difference in my hips.
Because I have had ongoing pain for so long, I basically have learned to
live with it. I immediately noticed that my walking motion was loose
(it was really tight before) and felt less restricted. It was almost
like someone had given my hips a shot of W-40! I can’t express how grateful
I am for the time you and your staff spent to really assess where I hurt,
but what may be causing the pain. I have longed to be able to walk, jog,
dance, and do other physical activity without being fearful I would end up
paying for it later with aches and pains in my hips. While I know it does
take time for the body to completely heal, I know the work you did today
has put me on a path that will make that possible. I feel a big difference.
For lack of better words, things just feel “right” and in place. I haven’t
felt this way for a long time. It’s a great feeling!!!
I believe that everyone has a reason for being here on earth,
a mission or destiny if you will. We all have something to contribute
(size doesn’t matter) and as we make those contributions, our world is
a better place. Dr. Klein, from the first time I looked at your website
I could sense that you were living your passion; you were doing what you
were born to do and as a result, many lives have been blessed…including mine!
Thank you for saying yes to your life calling and accepting an opportunity
to bless our world.
Grateful and Feeling Good,
Lorie King
