Dear Dr. Klein,
Today was my first adjustment. The way I felt before today I attributed
it to being pregnant. I am currently 7 months pregnant. Before my adjustment
I was unaware of how tight my whole back felt, and how tight my hips felt.
After I got adjusted today, and I stood up, I immediately felt lighter
(that means a lot coming from a pregnant woman) and free from restricted
movements. My back felt looser and more importantly my hips. I took a walk
down the street. I noticed how light I felt, there was a bounce to my
step, so I kept walking. I could take deeper breaths, and I was amazed
at how my hips felt. Since being pregnant I have felt a slight pinching
in my left hip that would get very bad later on in the evenings,
sometimes I couldn’t bend over, and my left leg would feel like it was a
little numb. Again, I believe this all to be a part of being pregnant,
so I dealt with it. I walked down the hill and up the hill. I could not
believe the range of motion; I could take bigger steps, almost lunging.
I normally take walks every day around my neighborhood which consists
of huge hills. Before, walking seemed to be limited and restricted.
I now feel light on me feet, and able to move more freely. This
feels great, because being pregnant my belly gets in the way, and
now it will only be my growing belly getting in the way and not the
stiffness in my back or hips that I felt before. Just sitting here writing
this letter, in this chair, I feel I can move better, twist and bend freely,
I feel very flexible. My poor baby, I was blaming all this on her.
I honestly feel like I could do the splits right now….ha ha ha!!
Thank you Dr. Klein, I love you
