MA's One Day Back Spasm Miracle

M.A.s ONE DAY MIRACLE STORY ABOUT HER BACK SPASMS

On March 14, 2006, I attempted to move a cinder block off of my dog, Marley’s, chain. As I picked up the cinder block and threw it aside, I felt like a “twinge” in the lower region of the right side of my back. Immediately after that, I could not stand up straight and it felt as if my back was lock in a slightly bent position.

Then  I went to work and could not perform the usual task of carrying a relatively small box up a slight incline. I chose to direct the box traffic as opposed to doing it myself due to the “twinge” and the pain it had caused from earlier that day.

I spent one hour at work and went home and muscle spasms occurred quite frequently. The muscle spasms caused excruciating pain, almost bringing me to tears. The pain was agonizing and constant, especially when I was sitting. Lying down temporarily lessened the amount of pain I felt, but sitting was unbearable to the point where my face would cringe and the only way to cope with the pain would be to tightly clench something between my fists. As I attempted to use the restroom, in the sitting position, I had to grip onto two different objects with all my strength to deal with the pain that the muscle spasms were causing. I wanted to scream.

Later that evening, my husband and I drove to Dr. Klein’s office. My husband had to lift my leg for me in order for me to enter the car. This was simply because I could not physically move my leg. I knew that if I moved my leg that the pain would be excruciating and unbearable. When I arrived at Seaside Chiropractic, I spoke to Dr. Klein and suggested that we not use the moving tables because of the muscle spasms and the pain that accompanies them. Dr. Klein thought differently and recommended that we use the moving table. As I lay down, Dr Klein slowly increased the speed of the moving table, asking along the way how I felt to minimize pain and discomfort. This worked and Dr. Klein began to gently work on my back. After the basic, light work on my back, Dr. Klein adjusted me. The feeling after the adjustment was miraculous. I slowly sat up onto the table my own, and stood up rather quickly.

Prior to coming into Dr. Klein’s office, I would describe my pain as unbearable and excruciating, just simply awful. After the adjustment, I immediately felt better and the pain increased drastically. The next day the pain dropped from a 10 to a 3 (based on a scale that 10 is a broken bone and 0 is no pain at all).   M.A.
